What’s included…
All cleans include a full strip down. This process involves the doors being removed (where possible) glass removed and cleaned, fan casing and fan removed and cleaned, lamp covers are cleaned (bulbs are replaced free-of-charge).
All shelves and side racks are removed, grill elements are lowered to allow cleaning of the ceiling – even the oven seals are cleaned.
This process is the same regardless of the type of oven you have. Vengeance Oven Cleaning clean all types of domestic ovens (singles, doubles, range cookers) but specialise in deep cleaning AGAs, Everhots and Rayburns.
I also clean, hobs, extractors, microwaves (standard and combination) and also BBQs. This process takes between 1.5hrs to 4hrs dependent upon the clean.
My 10-Step Process
Initial inspection of oven – Looking for damage, defects, missing screws etc. Ovens are switched on to make sure fan is operating correctly and oven is heating up.
Doors are removed and ovens are stripped down and compatible components placed in dip tank in van.
Using a scraper, the majority of the burnt on fat is removed.
Eco-friendly cleaning paste is then applied.
Using a scraper & steel wool balls, the remaining burnt on fat is removed from the ceiling, side panels and base.
The oven is then wiped out with soft cloths and polished to leave it looking like new.
Doors are stripped down, cleaned and re-assembled.
Oven components in dip tank are rinsed in fresh water, dried & any remaining marks removed.
Ovens are then re-assembled and doors refitted.
Final polish before ovens are tested to make sure everything is in working order.
What Do I Clean & How Long Does It Take?
Below is a list of the types of appliances I clean, with an idea of how long I’ll spend making each one gleam. If you have something that isn’t on the list, then please drop me a line and I’ll see what I can do.
- Single oven cleans – Typically 1.5 to 2hrs
- Double oven cleans – Typically 2 to 2.5 hrs
- Single/double oven range cookers – Typically 3 to 4 hrs
- AGAs/Everhots/Rayburns – Typically 3 to 5 hrs
- Gas hobs / Extractors – Typically 30 mins to 1hr
- Microwaves – Typically 30mins to 1hr
- BBQs – Up to 2 hrs (dependent upon size)
